Bernadette's Birthday!!

Bernadette's birthday was this week! We celebrated with a fantastic cake baked by Eugena, presents, a lovely stroll, and movies galore! It really was quite a spectacular event! On the night of her birthday, Eugena and Penny took Bernadette out to dinner at her favourite restaurant, a delightful little Italian cafe, where we feasted and sang Happy Birthday to her. All in all, I think she had a marvellous day.

you ll never guess what happened we were sitting at home when my friends Noonoo and Fern called and invited me to come to there house in Austria! that was nearly a month ago when i got home . we had a wonderful time swimming, playing at the park, and watching movies!

We're Back!

Well, needless to say, Italy was absolutely spectacular! The beaches were beautiful, the food and weather was simply amazing, and we really just had a fantastic time! Sorry it has been so long since a post was published; we did not have access to a computer in Italy, thus creating a problem. If you watch the slideshow, you may see some of our splendid photographs. We started in Rome, then we went to Siena, Sicily, Venice, Naples, and Turin. Italy is probably the very best escape from an Icelandic winter.

At long last, the weather has finally begun to improve! Maybe now we won't really NEED that vacation to Italy, but we'll still go anyways! We would like to Congratulate our dear friend Helena, off in the United States, on winning First Girl at her school's Fun Run. Why they call it that, we don't know. Not much has really been happening lately. We're actually quite bored all the time and cannot wait to get out of Iceland and in to ITALY! We are leaving next Friday! We're so excited!! At last, our long anticipated trip has arrived! Until Later!

This week it was finally looking like the weather had taken a turn for the better until the storm hit. The snow keeps coming and coming and we don't know if it will ever stop! Penny, Eugena, and I are huddled by the fire hoping and praying that it will stop!

Last night was a horrid nightmare! the storm went on and on and on and wouldnt stop! when we woke up this morning it was above our roof.

We thought the rotten days of winter were over, but alas, we were sadly mistaken. It has snowed every day this week and we are going to die! We've been wanting to plan a trip to Italy, just to escape the cold, but we just haven't gotten around to it yet!

today is a grand day in witch i have not gone to school! i stayed up late last night and i twas exhausted so my mother let me sleep in. then she let me stay all day! ha ha ha

Today was another painfully boring day at school. Naturally, we all overslept and arrived late to class and, to be quite frank, looked like we had all just barely rolled out of bed. Much daydreaming was done today. This year, at our school, the day was lengthened from 6 unbearable periods to 8! We are going to perish! I'd better go and start making a dent in the mountain of homeworks that was assigned today.

Today myself (bernadette) and my loveble friends Eugena and Penny went back to boarding school. It's been a horrible day! Miss Wolf almost killed Eugena for texting in class!!! It was horrible!

Day Two

Well here we are in the nice, warm lodge. We were skiing this morning when it was still a bit dark outside and Eugena got stuck in a huge mogul! She is ok though. We came back in and we enjoyed hot chocolate and waffles. We are packing up and heading for the ice fishing spot now. Maybe we'll see some bears! Until later!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Bangle Seafront. We love to do cool stuff and we try to keep a daily update of our many adventures. This week we plan to go ice fishing and skiing. hopefully we don't get stuck in the snow for a month! After skiing, we are going to go shell collecting down at the beach near our cottage. Eugena is making a statue of seashells and so far it is truly amazing!
